Big Texas Skies

There is nothing quite like big Texas skies.8954559147_2ce60c6eb2_o

Three years ago today, M and I moved to Texas a week after we got married.

Looking back on that decision, it was the craziest thing I’ve ever done. We leaped into a new state, an apartment we’d never seen, and our jobs were not yet secured. All we had was the faith that God would help us land on our feet and start our lives together.

We’ve changed apartments three, almost four, times. M transferred jobs. I was teaching, but now I’m taking a break. We had family here, but now we don’t. Our journey hasn’t been always been easy, but living under the blue Texas skies has blessed our lives tremendously.

This journey has strengthened my faith that God has a plan for my life, even if I don’t have a clear picture of it yet.

I have faith that God has Texas-sized plans for my life.

What is God challenging you to do in your life?
